Cinematic

This short film was born from the desire to give voice and presence back to a family memory at risk of fading away. It is a tribute to the war stories of my grandparents, Dina and Adorno, whom I never had the chance to interview, yet who come back to life through the memories of my aunt, Derna. I wanted to turn the gaze toward those minor landscapes, the countryside, the secondary roads, places that are silent today but were once crossed by acts of courage. To remember, eighty years after the Liberation from Nazi-fascism, that Resistance is not only found in symbolic places, but also in the everyday lives of those who resisted quietly, in silence.
